LANDED COST / EXPLAINEDKnow what one imported unit really costs.
A supplier quote is only the starting point. Convert the supplier price into your selling currency, then add inbound freight, estimated duty and import overhead. The resulting landed cost is the cost of getting one unit ready to sell.
Convert before adding costs
Enter one source-currency unit's value in your selling currency. For example, if a supplier unit costs 80 in its currency and the rate is 1.05, the converted cost is 84 in your selling currency. The calculator does not fetch live rates.
Estimate import duty
This model applies your entered duty percentage to converted supplier cost plus inbound shipping. Actual customs rules and taxable amounts vary by destination and product, so use a verified rate and basis for real decisions.
Go beyond landed cost
Delivery to the buyer, marketplace and payment fees, ads, a returns allowance and other selling costs are added separately. Break-even and target selling prices include those entered costs.
